A clean surface is essential for proper application. We will make sure any areas that are getting epoxy are empty and free of all objects. All cracks are fixed and expansion joints are filled (if wanted).
Grinding is one of the most important aspects of prepping the surface. Many installers will use an acid wash but that produces an inferior end product. We use a power grinder to grind the entire floor. This process opens the pores of the concrete and allows a bond to form with the concrete and epoxy. When grinding is complete, our high powered, industrial vacuum creates a dust free surface.
Apply base coat of epoxy with flake. Setup period is 2 -12 hours depending on cure time.
After the product has cured, any residual flake is cleaned up. We vacuum again and apply a topcoat to protect the floor. This results in a semi-smooth surface with chemical resistance.

After the top coat is applied, the installation process is complete. Light foot traffic is allowed after 24 hours. Vehicles are allowed after 7 days.
